London police hunt man who pushed pedestrian into road
Suspect and 57-year-old victim exchanged words moments earlier, police sayPolice are appealing for help to trace a man who pushed a fellow pedestrian into the path of rush hour traffic in central London.CCTV footage released by City of London police on Tuesday showed the 57-year-old victim being shoved into the road on New Bridge Street, which leads to Blackfriars Bridge. A taxi heading southwards can be seen screeching to a halt to prevent hitting the man who fell on to his front, sustaining grazes to his hands and arms. Police said he was also briefly dazed. Hendon

Hendon railway station is a National Rail station situated to the west of Hendon, in the London Borough of Barnet.

The station was built by the Midland Railway in 1868 on its extension to St. Pancras. From 1875 the Midland opened a service to Victoria on the London, Chatham and Dover Railway and received coaches from the London and South Western Railway for attachment to north-bound trains.

Foster House:   Foster House and Brent Lodge were two 18th-century brick houses at the corner of Butcher's Lane and Brent Street. Butcher's Lane later became Queen’s Road

Jewish Military Museum:   The Jewish Military Museum features exhibits about Jews serving in the British armed forces from the 18th century to the present day.
Kisharon College:   Miscellaneous which accepts students between the ages of 16 and 99.
Nancy Reuben Primary School:   Other independent school which accepts students between the ages of 2 and 11. Admissions policy: Non-selective.
Parkfield Primary School:   Academy sponsor led (Primary) which accepts students between the ages of 3 and 11.
Parkfield, the Hyde, and Childs Hill Children’s Centre:   This is a children’s centre.
Peninim:   Other independent school which accepts students between the ages of 2 and 11.
Renters Farm:   Near to where Brent Cross Shopping Centre is today was a farm called Renter's. It was situated in Shirehall Lane close to Shire Hall, Hendon.
Shire Hall:   In the lane leading to Renter’s Farm, Shire Hall was mentioned in 1712, rebuilt in the Renaissance manner c. 1850, and demolished c.1920.
St John, Hendon:   St John is a church built by Temple Moore (1856–1920) was an English architect who was born in Tullamore, Ireland.
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School:   Voluntary aided school (Primary) which accepts students between the ages of 3 and 11.
St Mary’s and St John’s CofE School:   Voluntary aided school (All through) which accepts students between the ages of 3 and 15. Admissions policy: Non-selective.
St Mary’s Church, Hendon:   St Mary’s Church in Hendon may date back to the Anglo-Saxon period.
St Mary’s Churchyard:   St Mary’s Churchyard is also known as ’Hendon Churchyard’.
Sunny Hill Park:   Sunny Hill Park is a 22 hectare park, situated within the angle formed by the A1 and the A41.

Greyhound Hill:   The photo was taken in 1912, looking down the hill towards Hendon Aerodrome. From this spot, Hendon residents could get a free view of the aerobatic displays when they took place.
Hendon Central (1923):   Photographed in 1923, this stretch of Butchers Lane would soon become Hendon Central Circus and have Watford Way built along the route of the old lane.
Hendon Central (1928):   Photographed in 1928, this stretch of Watford Way at Hendon Central Circus had recently been built along ancient Butchers Lane and shops were rapidly lining its sides. The United Dairies occupied the domed building, a prestigeous site.
