Westbourne Pond is marked on the 1830 Greenwood map as the source of the Westbourne River.

While this pond did indeed exist, the Westbourne River rose in Hampstead and flowed into (and out of) this pond. The rivulet above this point was not marked on the map of 1830.

By 1860, the stream had been culverted below here.

Grenfell Tower final death toll: police say 71 lives lost as result of fire
Officers say they have recovered and identified the final two bodies from the tower and do not expect to find any moreAll the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire named so farThe Grenfell Tower fire took the lives of 71 people, police have said, after recovering what they believe to be the last of the bodies.Officers investigating the disaster said on Thursday they had identified the final two people who died as 71-year-old Victoria King and her 40-year-old daughter, Alexandra Atala. The first thing to note is that the police’s expected and confirmed death tolls were always a lot lower than much of the speculation. The shadow home secretary and others, such as the singer Lily Allen, had insisted at various times that the number must be well into the hundreds. John Rocque Map of Hampstead (1762).
John Rocque (c. 1709Ė1762) was a surveyor, cartographer, engraver, map-seller and the son of Huguenot ťmigrťs. Roque is now mainly remembered for his maps of London. This map dates from the second edition produced in 1762. London and his other maps brought him an appointment as cartographer to the Prince of Wales in 1751. His widow continued the business after his death. The map of Hampstead covers an area stretching from the edge in the northwest of present-day Dollis Hill to Islington in the southeast.
