Nettleton Road largely runs parallel with the Bath Road in the northern part of the Heathrow Airport area.

The HM Revenue and Customs office for Heathrow Airport has its headquarters in Nettleton Road. The road also serves the Renaissance London Heathrow Airport hotel.

LOCATIONS ON THE UNDERGROUND MAP
Bathurst:   The first farmhouse south along Heathrow Road south of the Bath Road junction was ’Bathurst’, situated to the east of the road.
Doghurst Cottages:   Doghurst Cottages were situated at the east side of the north end of Heathrow Road.
Heathrow Hall:   Heathrow Hall was an attractive 18th century building occupied by one of the several branches of the Philp family who farmed extensively in the area.
Heathrow Road chapel:   Heathrow Road chapel was already disused when the area was demolished
