Garrick House, Hampton (2007) Originally enlarged by architect Adam for the celebrated Georgian actor, David Garrick. He died here in 1779. It is now an exclusive development of flats.

The Astoria houseboat on the Thames at Hampton as seen from Hurst Park (2019) Astoria is a grand houseboat, built in 1911 for impresario Fred Karno and adapted as a recording studio in the 1980s by its new owner, Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour.

"The Great Fire of Hampton" (c.1908) This was possibly not a genuine fire but enacted in March 1908 at the Red Lion Inn. Certainly, early newsreel cameras were suspiciously early on the scene, given the date.
