Academy Buildings is a large block of brick warehouses.

It was built in the 1890s and consists of a three-storey ex-industrial (furniture) building. It is restored and in residential use today.

The ’Academy’ refers to Hoxton Dissenting Academy which stood close by in Hoxton Square in the early 19th century.
