Cleveland Gardens is a short stretch of road behind Cleveland Square.
The road runs parallel to the northernmost quadrant of the square, which lies to the south of Cleveland Gardens.
It was formerly called James Street with a small square called Rutland Square on its southern edge - this can be seen on the 1860s mapping.
