Cambridge Gate, NW1
Regent’s Park
Cambridge Gate was built between 1876 and 1880 by Archer and Green.

Cambridge Gate is faced with Bath stone rather than the stucco of Nash’s grand design.

It takes its name from Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge who was one of George IV’s younger brothers.

Cambridge Gate was built on the site of Decimus Burton’s Colosseum, demolished in 1875.
