Victoria Road stretches north to Kensington Road.
Development of Victoria Road started around 1829. Victoria Road was the first street to be developed on the Vallotton Estate. Victoria Road originally consisted of semi-detached pairs of villas, surrounded by substantial gardens.
John James Vallotton purchased the first parcel of land of the future Vallotton Estate in 1794. His son Howell Leny Vallotton continued with land purchases until it was 20 acres in size.
There has been ongoing development of Victoria Road - only a few of the original houses remain.
