Wyvil Road is a short street running west from South Lambeth Road.

Vauxhall has a significant historical connection to the automotive industry, with the first Vauxhall motor cars being manufactured at the Vauxhall Iron Works in 1903. The location for this was on the corner of Wandsworth Road and Wyvil Road.

Wyvil Road runs west to east, providing a link between Wandsworth Road and South Lambeth Road. On the north side of Wyvil Road, the Vauxhall Griffin Public House stands out as a noteworthy 19th-century corner pub, characterised by its three-storey stock brick construction, canted end, and sash windows.

Opposite the pub, on the south side of Wyvil Road, is Wyvil Primary School. This London Board School, dating back to 1877, is designed in the Queen Anne style. The school consists of two large blocks and features a frontage to South Lambeth Road.
