Devonshire Square, E1
The Knight of the Cnihtengild is a statue in Devonshire Square, EC3.

The sculpture, unveiled in 1990, represents one of 13 knights who were awarded land in London in the 10th Century by King Edgar.

Fascinatingly, it stands on a circular plate that turns by one degree every day, completing a full circle every year.

The Metropolitan/Circle lines run directly underneath the square.
