Minet Country Park
Pond, Minet Country Park, Hayes (2003)

The Minet Country Park was created from a derelict area used partly as car boot sale and for motor cycle scrambling.

After much work, it became a country park and nature reserve.

Minet Country Park was originally part of the Coldharbour Estate, owned by the Minet family from 1766 until the mid-twentieth century.

Minet Country Park consists of some 36-hectares and was opened to the public in 2003. The park has a feast of habitats with a network of hedges, waterways and grassland corridors.
