Ripon Way, WD6
Ripon Way was planned as one of the main roads of the Laing Estate.

In the 1930s, the John Laing company purchased hundreds of acres, intending to create a ‘garden town’. The main arterial roads: Manor Way, Cranes Way and Ripon Way were laid out before the Second World War intervened.

After the war, a very different plan was developed by the London County Council.
