Blue Bridge crosses St James’s Park lake.

The bridge offers spectacular views across the lake to Buckingham Palace to the west and Horse Guards Parade, Big Ben and the London Eye to the east.

The first bridge here was designed by John Nash. This was replaced by an iron suspension bridge in 1857 and the current bridge dates from 1957.
