Auckland Street is a continuation of Glyn Street.
It is one of the few survivors of 1860s roads laid over the original Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens.
Today it is little more than an access road along the south side of the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens and has an open access into the Pleasure Gardens and beyond. In its nineteenth century form it was a long street of terraces.
