Apsley Street was off Redman’s Road.

Anne Street was renamed Apsley Street in 1891 and Silver Street became part of Apsley Street in 1938.

Apsley Street was badly damaged by a V1. Four prefabs were erected on the west side but it was redeveloped as part of the Stifford Estate in 1952.
