North of the canal, the curving strip facing the Warwick estate, from Lord Hill’s footbridge to the former Amberley school, is lined by terraces called Barnwood Close and Aldsworth Close, with three storeys along the canal and over garages on the landward side.

Aldsworth Close flats were finished in 1977.
