The White Hart Inn stood opposite the Knightsbridge Leper Hospital on the bank of the Westbourne.

The Leper Hospital was established in late 1400s beside the river at Knight’s Bridge. The White Hart and Old Cannon Tap took over some of the hospital buildings on the other bank,

It was demolished in the 1840s to make way for Albert Gate.
