Arthur Mews was also known as Arthur Place.
Both Arthur Mews and Arthur Terrace which fronted onto the Caledonian Road were built in 1853, by Henry Law, a contemporary of Thomas Cubitt.
By 1878, Arthur Terrace had become 353-379 Caledonian Road, including the Prince Arthur pub.
In 1938, Arthur Mews was renamed as Arthur Place - however this name change did not last long.
The King’s Court development replaced it - the exact date of this is unknown to the project.
