A farm existed in Kilburn Lane until the 1860s, by which time it had been disrupted by the railway line.
The name of the farm is as yet unknown as it appears on old mapping without a label.
In the late 1830s, the Hampstead Railway was built across the landscape cutting the farmhouse off from some of its land.
