Wormwood Scrubs is an open space of 67 hectares in Old Oak Common located in the north-eastern corner of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

The area is first mentioned in 1189 as Wormhold Scrubs, the area was cleared woodland used for pasture for the cattle and pigs of the local manor.
