Summerfield Street, SE12

Summerfield Street was laid out in 1869.

The road was constructed as part of the southwards extension of Lee. The local streets, which had their own school and Baptist chapel in Bromley Road, were built for service workers of Lord Northbrook’s tenants in Burnt Ash Hill.
