Hollywood East at 1 Station Road was previously the Park Tavern.
First reported in 1896, its unusual shape led it to be known locally as The Coffin.
The pub was the site of the unofficial 1877 murder trial of the ill-fated Harriet Staunton, one of the most infamous cases in London history. The Penge Mystery, as it became known, caught the imagination of Victorian audiences.
Conversion to flats were completed in June 2019, the pub having closed in 2015. A distinctive mural had been painted on the back of the pub by then.
