Wollstonecraft Street was the first name to be chosen from a naming competition by the developers of N1C.

Mary Wollstonecraft was a nineteenth century writer, philosopher and advocate for women’s rights. She wrote ’A Vindication of the Rights of Woman’. She is buried in the graveyard of St Pancras Old Church.
