These houses all originally had names. From the left: Paradise House, Dunwood House, Baxter Lodge, Vincent House, Warwick House, Kennaway Hall. The Kennaway Estate was largely built on the site in the 1970s.
This section of the New River in Clissold Park was drained in 1958.
