Salve Volpe - known locally as 'Jacko' - selling chestnuts from an ice cream barrow outside the World's End pub, Chelsea (1951)

'Jacko', who lived in Fulham, branched out to selling ice cream in the summer. Selling chestnuts on London streets seems to have largely died out.
