Blue plaque erected in 1932 by London County Council at 95 Stoke Newington Church Street. London’s blue plaques link the people of the past with the buildings of the present. Will Owen, who sketched the houses, wrote: "... at the end comes a row of early eighteenth century houses, built of that rich red brick that grows richer with age, with pretty porches creeper-covered and this is Church Row."
