The Cheshire Cheese, located at 5 Little Essex Street, is a historic public house with roots dating back to the 16th century. Situated on a site that has hosted a tavern for centuries, the current building, a Grade II listed structure, was reconstructed in 1928 by the architect Nowell Parr.
