Saracen’s Head Yard, EC3N
St Paul’s from the south west in 1896
Saracen’s Head Yard was to the south of Aldgate.

The Saracen’s Head Inn was on south side of Aldgate (on the corner with Jewry Street). There is only evidence for the existence of the inn after 1721 though the building itself was older, perhaps mid-late seventeenth century. The building was demolished sometime after 1909 and the yard seems to have survived only until the 1950s.
