Wild’s Farm was founded as late as 1928 when the Wild family moved there from Longford.

Wild’s Farm grew flowers and flower bedding plants until the Second World War. After the outbreak of war, the farm re-specialised in growing vegetables. It had two farmhouses: Shrub End and Croft House.

Wild’s had a line of greenhouses and a packing shed behind Croft House.
