Camden High Street, NW1

It features major music venues at either end (KOKO, the former Camden Palace, at the southern end and the Roundhouse at the northern end).

Like all local ’Camden’ names, it was named for Charles Pratt, 1st Earl Camden. He was the owner of the land on which the road and much of the surviving development was built in 1791.

It is now a very busy commercial centre with Camden Town station at its heart.
