Fiveways Corner (the Fiveways Interchange) is the place where the Barnet Bypass (A1) and Watford Bypass (A41) meet at the southern end of their shared section through Mill Hill.
The Great North Way, built in 1926, joined Watford Way carrying the A41, completed in 1927, at Fiveways Corner.
Between 1970 and 1977, the M1 motorway had its terminus just north of the junction before being extended to Staples Corner.
The A41 and A1 continue together as Watford Way via Mill Hill Circus to Apex Corner, where they separate, with the A41 turning west, and the A1 turning to run straight north.
