Brent Cross (1947)

Brent Cross roundabout was named after its nearby river, the Brent.

The junction was transformed by a flyover over the North Circular Road followed by the 1970s construction of Brent Cross Shopping Centre. The latter was built next to Hendon's former greyhound stadium.
