In 1858 he married Julia Ann Walsh at Burra, South Australia, they had 3 children, and 36 grand children. Died 24 June 1896 at Wilmington, South Australia. He is my 1st cousin 3x removed. Reply

Reservoir Road, Brockley (1904) TUM image id: 1467120646 Licence:	The gas lamp in the centre of the island at New Cross Gate is a well-known landmark of the area. It doubled up as a ventilation pipe for the (now derelict) 1897-built toilets below ground. The lamp is Grade II listed for embodying the only design of Scottish architect Alexander Thomson’s work to survive in England.
