Samuda Street, E14

Samuda Street used to be a turning off of Manchester Road

Samuda Street is named for the shipbuilding company of Jacob and Joseph d’Aguilar Samuda - the Samuda Brothers.

After Second World War bombing, it became home to an estate of prefabs. The street was ultimately replaced by the Samuda Estate which began construction in 1965.
