Woodcock Hill 1900s, looking down from the crossroads at Barnet Lane, Elstree. The entrance to Woodcock Hill Farm can just be seen on the right where the horse and cart is. The vicinity was later the home of director Stanley Kubrick who chose to live here not only due to its proximity to Elstree Studios in Borehamwood but for its still-bucolic environment.
