The underground map showing Edgware station would have looked quite different had the Northern Heights plan gone ahead. The original line would have terminated here as it does today. The larger London Aerodrome (Hendon Aerodrome) was largely a project of air pioneer Claude Grahame-White from 1908 onwards. It later became RAF Hendon before closing in the 1950s.
