From the late 1870s building had spread on Spencer Maryon Wilson’s lands. Near the Metropolitan railway line was Broadhurst Gardens, where 116 houses were built between 1882 and 1894. The last ever Beatles single (’Now And Then’) was issued on 2 November 2023. Decca Studios on Broadhurst Garden famously turned down the Fab Four.
