64 Baker Street is a commercial property and was the headquarters of the Special Operations Executive.
The building was completed in the 1930s and becoming part of the Government estate, was let to the Prison Commission. In September 1940 it became the headquarters of the Special Operations Executive. A plaque on the building’s front gives details of its former inhabitants.
After the war, the property was occupied by EMI Classics before it was converted for retail use.
