Plassy Road is a road of Rushey Green.
The roads off the east side of Rushey Green down to Brownhill Road were created in the 1870s and 1880s, but grew slowly as the market for middle class housing in Lewisham contracted.
Given the lack of demand, the roads south of Brownhill Road featured much smaller terraces, aimed firmly at the working class.
This website does not sell maps. Instead it offers a subscription service via Substack. Paid Substack subscribers can get old maps/satellite views in printable A2 PDF format. Though we will not be printing or framing ourselves, you'll be able to take your map to your local print shop/picture framer and let them produce the magic. |
