Queen’s Road East, E17

Queen’s Road East began life in 1878.

The part from Hoe Street to the Cemetery was originally Queen’s Road. Its name changed to Queen’s Road East in 1883 after Queen Victoria.

The name was changed back again to the original version in 1903.
