Thames Village - Hartington Road maisonettes, completed in 1956, occupy a site with an industrial past.

Originally a gravel pit that supplied materials for concrete barge construction at Cubitts Yacht Basin, the land was later filled in and temporarily used as a caravan site before the residential development.
