Drew Road now forms the southern boundary of London City Airport.
Drew Road was originally not split into two sections and also did not form the northern limit of neighbouring streets. The surrounding streets which were aligned north-south used to cross Drew Road to form northern sections.
After the redevelopment of the Docklands, the airport grounds were expanded to Drew Road.
