Park Square East lies north of Park Crescent and Marylebone Road.
The square consists of large elegant stuccoed terraced houses by the architect John Nash, and was built in 1823–24.
The square is one of the largest private squares in London and the site is owned by the Crown Estate.
It is dominated by plane trees, originally planted in 1817 to commemorate the victory at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.
